Hello and Good Friday!
Mine is subdued: sore throat, fever, and yet so much disappointment for what happened yesterday on my facebook profile.
It all started from my online interview which you can see here during which more than that to talk about me and my work I showed the necklace I was wearing, however the one that you saw here made for the competition Milleidee Blue
I put the link on FB interview shortly after I found a bad review of a girl into all things said and seen, the only thing that has been able to say is that I should specify that the necklace she was wearing was inspired by another blogger creative (well known).
From there it is a debate erupted, I said what I thought was right, and of course the pile is turned up another person who has re-emphasized that I was wrong and that I just had to mention the creator (or rather the importer in Italy) the know-how of the series.
So once and for all, I want direche saddened me very much that in an environment (virtual or not) where many girls are united by the same passion for doing, the creative, the beautiful, we must fall in the seedy arguing without knowing only to avoid having to admit that sometimes there may be a new generation that basically gets along well.
And all this for A blockhead!!
When I started my blog adventure sailing and visiting the blog I saw and enjoyed the necklaces with the fools and the braid so much so that I made a few for me and my friends and I made a post to quote the correct source from which I got the idea. Then I found several other Italian and foreign blog on which I have seen many versions of these beautiful jewels, one among to Llooki, a Polish girl who has a very good blockhead for every occasion! She uses a long time the fools to make jewelry combining them with beads, chains, braids and roses. Will be one of his inventions? You will be inspired by the work of others to achieve them?
I say, but who cares?? We know that we are in the world with the web, all take ideas from what we see and then we process, we add a pinch of our taste, we had another half idea in my head for a bit 'and here we have created a new object. Who goes into the chair and poses as a teacher can truly admit that everything he does is born from nothing? Really did not give a peek into the web, and an enlarged nose, changed the color, replacing a heart of a star, added a ribbon and then say: THIS IS 'MY DESIGN??
So girls, just controversy, we learn to recognize and appreciate not only our work and that of our friends and the work of others because we know that all we do it with great passion!!

That's why today, in the wake of the emails that have piled up yesterday just in terms of blockhead and saw that Abilmente many have asked me how do I made a short tutorial to make it:

Fold the fabric in half and place the paper template (a simple circle that you can draw directly on the fabric)

Sew all around along the scored line. You can leave a space open for turning and insert the filling, then close to sub-or, as I did knowing that the blockhead will be positioned on the edge of the necklace, close everything and then make an incision in the center which will be closed after padding but you will not see because there will be the thread of the necklace to hide everything.

Cut around the seam leaving a small margin on which you are going to make small incisions (being careful not to cut the seam) to ensure that the fabric to relax better when turned.

Rivoltare sul dritto.

Inserire l'imbottitura a piccoli fiocchi sistemandola bene, deve risultare nè troppo duro nè troppo molle. Chiudere l'apertura.

Turn right side out.

Place the filling in small flakes sistemandola well, it must be neither too hard nor too soft. Close the opening.

Cut a rather long thread, take a deep node and point the needle at the center of the back of the blockhead and out in the middle of the front, pull well to form the first segment and thread the needle back to the center and back out in the center front. Repeat for a total of 8 times so dividing the segments. Stop the thread and sew on a button, a pearl, a small rosette fabric to finish the center

Difficile??????

Difficult??? But it should be!!

At this point you can give free rein to your creativity. Long or short thread, pearls, braids, carded wool, add roses, buttons, bows, ribbons or anything that comes to mind. Attach the fools with hot glue to your thread or if you fancy sew and create your own style!!

A feverish kiss.

Grazie a tutte!!!!
